Privacy Policy

This page describes how trml.app (the website) handles information about you. It does not cover the trml iOS application or the trml-daemon — those products have their own privacy practices documented in the app itself and in the daemon's repository README.

What this site collects

trml.app is a static marketing page. It does not set tracking cookies, run analytics, or fingerprint visitors. The only personal information it actively collects is:

• Your email address, and only if you enter it into the waitlist form. We use it to send you one announcement when the iOS app is available, plus occasional product updates during the private beta. Nothing else.

That's it. We do not collect your name, precise location, advertising identifiers, browsing behavior, or any other identifiers beyond what's described below.

Third parties

Two services see traffic from this site:

1. Formspree (formspree.io) — receives waitlist submissions, stores your email, and forwards it to us. See their privacy policy.
2. Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com) — serves the typefaces used on the page. Google receives standard request metadata (IP, user agent). We do not share any other information with Google.

Server logs

Our web server records standard HTTP access logs (timestamp, IP address, user agent, requested URL, response status). These are retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse-detection purposes, then deleted.

What we do not do

• We do not sell, rent, or trade your email.
• We do not use advertising trackers, behavioral cookies, or third-party analytics.
• We do not embed third-party iframes, social-media widgets, or chat widgets.
• We do not transfer your data outside the infrastructure listed above.

Your rights

You can:

• Ask us to remove your email from the waitlist at any time by emailing admin@trml.app.
• Request a copy of any data we hold about you (which is, at most, your email).
• Withdraw consent by unsubscribing from any email we send you.

If you are in the EU or UK, the GDPR lawful basis we rely on for the waitlist is consent — submitting the form is the consent action.

Changes

If we change how this site handles data, we will update this page and adjust the "Last updated" date. Material changes (e.g. adding analytics) will also be communicated by email to anyone on the waitlist.
